By using female hair, which in traditional Judaism is supposed to be
covered because of its sensual nature, (Ervah) and externalizing it in
a traditionally male ritual garment the tallit, (prayer shawl) I
introduce female sexuality that throughout Talmudic interpretation has
had to be subdued.
